Commercially Pure, also known as CP SB 338 Gr 2, is an unalloyed steel. Cp Grade 2 Titanium Tubing contains more iron and oxygen than other CP types, resulting in outstanding formability, moderate strength, and exceptional corrosion resistance. Ti Cp Grade 2 Seamless Tubing has a strong strength-to-weight ratio and can withstand high temperatures.
Grade 2 Titanium Rod is made up of a commercially pure titanium grade that contains more than 99 percent titanium. We are Alloy Gr 2 Flat Bar manufacturers. Titanium Round Bar/Rod Grade 2 is most often used in aerospace, industrial, medical, cryogenic, and thermal applications. Grade 2 titanium offers high corrosion resistance with an approximate strength of 6061-T6 aluminium. Its high strength-to-weight ratio allows for a wide variety of applications. Full size and custom cut lengths of grade 2 titanium circular bar/rod stock are available.
Commercially pure titanium alloy is referred to as grade 2 titanium. The ASTM B348 UNS R50400 Hex Bar is the chosen alloy of choice for full industrial applications among the four commercially pure grades. In general, these applications include characteristics such as ductility and corrosion resistance. The advantage of using the ASME SB 348 gr 2 Titanium Rod, like many titanium alloys, is that it is small in weight.
These Titanium Bars are commercially pure, strong solution hardened wrought products with superior mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. It is therefore very resistant to caustic alkalis at various concentrations and temperatures. Deaerated acid, on the other hand, has greater corrosion tolerance.
