The ASTM B337 Titanium Gr 2 Seamless Pipe specification covers all seamless and welded titanium pipes. This Titanium WERKSTOFF NR. 3.7035 Pipe is designed for general corrosion resistance and applications requiring elevated temperature operation. ASTM B337 Gr 2 Alloy Seamless Pipe is deemed an excellent alternative for many industries due to its strong versatility coupled with desirable features such as decent weldability, improved tensile strength, ductility, and formability.

Gr 2 Titanium Bush Hex Pipe is also classified as grade 2 pure titanium pipe. While Titanium DIN NR. 3.7035 Pipe has similar properties to Titanium Grade 1 and Titanium Grade 2 Pipe, it also has the same corrosion resistance properties.

The Titanium Gr.2 Hexagonal Pipe's brilliant tolerance to oxidation and localised corrosion is a useful property. This ASME SB338 Gr 2 Titanium ERW Pipe is considered to have outstanding efficiency in terms of corrosion resistance in seawater at elevated temperatures up to 600 F. This property is what makes the UNS R50400 Welded Pipe suitable for a wide range of marine applications.

The Titanium Gr.2 Welded Pipe is annealed at temperatures ranging from 650°C to 760°C. The titanium grade 2 seamless pipe is still air cooled after annealing. Pickling is used to strip the alpha case from grade 2 titanium pipe.
