440C stainless steel is a martensitic stainless steel with a strong carbon and chromium material. It has the maximum efficiency, toughness, and wear tolerance of any stainless alloy after heat treatment. The corrosion resistance of 440C stainless steel plate is derived from the addition of chromium, and it is equivalent to grade 304. Hardening and polishing will attain the highest resistance, and the properties of 440C plate make it suitable for knives and cutting tools such as surgical blades. This stone, when hardened, retains a sharp edge and prevents corrosion, and it can be polished to a near-mirror finish. Because of its hardness and resistance to wear, 440C stainless steel is an excellent substitute for equipment such as chisels and ball bearings. We offer 440C stainless steel sheet materials in a range of thicknesses.
Din 1.4125 coils are martensitic steel grades of high stiffness, and are often manufactured using processes that necessitate hardening and tempering treatments. 17.00–18.00% Added only to excessive alloy tool steels, this enhances hardenability, increased wear resistance, strength, and resistance to corrosion.
